Just saw the doc today to get my stitches removed and she said I was cleared for beer! So what did I do? First thing I did was tell everyone what the doc said. When I got home from the doctor’s office guess what was waiting for me? Yep, a Pliny the Elder. Gotta love it when a plan comes together.
So today at lunch, the guys at work handed me the corporate credit card and asked me to help stock the break room fridge with beer because they were running low. Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy. I headed to Pacific Park Market and loaded up. The top shelf was already full of Stella Artois and Foster’s Lager. So I loaded up the bottom with Sierra Nevada Torpedo IPA, Deschuttes Black Butte Porter, New Belgium Snow Day, Sierra Nevada Ruthless Rye IPA, Ballast Point Sculpin, Russian River Pliny the Elder and Blind Pig, Lagunitas Maximus, and Big Sky Moose Drool. In the door (not pictured) is a bottle of Stone Brewing Old Guardian Barley Wine. I hope they weren’t expecting more lager.
