9.2% ABV By Flying Dog Brewery
“Big, bold, and beautiful like the man it was brewed in honor of Dr. Hunter S. Thompson. Flavor notes: Roasted coffee, chocolate, and vanilla malt flavors balanced with a unique hop bite.”
Really looking forward to this!

Edmund Fitzgerald Porter, 5.8% ABV
I had this a few weeks back when I got stuck in Minneapolis. It was malty, with slight notes of chocolate had some bitter to it but not overwhelming. I really liked it.
Irvine CA Chocolate Porter, Gents… I was impressed! This was a really good Porter. The chocolate notes were good but not overwhelming. The price is good too.
Looking forward to trying these. Look out for my posts. I also have posts from my recent trip to Chicago that I’ll be posting this weekend.

Had some pretty good beer at in downtown Greensboro, NC. I sampled their Porter which was not too bad.also had their “General Stout” which was very good. Coffee and chocolate notes and surprisingly not too heavy. Natty Greene’s Brewing Company
