So I got 3 under my belt this past hour. Up 1st, Bootleggers Brewery Rustic Rye IPA. I was introduced to this last night by a couple of friends. It’s a local micro in Fullerton, CA and I really enjoyed it the 1st time around. It was just as good tonight. 4 out of 5 bottle caps but not enough time to write much about it. Next up was a taste of The Lost Abbey Judgement Day. My brother-out-law is a fan of this style so I gave it a try. I’m going to give it 2 bottle caps, but take that with a grain of salt. I’m not a big fan of this style; it tastes to much like a winter seasonal that I’ve never cared for. Last one for the hour isn’t a beer but a whiskey; Devil’s cut from Jim Beam. It’s not a bad drink, finishing with vanilla. Not as much vanilla as Buffalo Trace if you’ve ever had that. I’m more of a JD and Makers fan, but this wasn’t bad. Thanks for the taste Uncle Jim. Back in an hour…
